Hardware Engineer
Hardware Engineer needed to design & develop Tollgrade products. Duties include system and component level design of networked industrial electronic products that incorporate analog and digital circuits, design of microprocessor-based embedded devices, development and execution of test plans, producing detailed design documentation, recommending changes, etc. The position requires BSEE degree along with 2-5 years relevant experience. Solid technical knowledge and proficiency with electronic hardware development including analog and digital circuits is a must. Also required is data networking knowledge (Ethernet, TCP/IP), experience with battery-powered equipment, and strong analytical and design skills. |

Director Of Validation
Director Of Validation needed for overall function of Validation Department. Duties include planning & directing validation of product designs against customer expectations. Also includes coordinating & overseeing Tollgrade products through 3rd-party certification to assure compliance with regulatory & industry standards. Successful candidate will review Validation Resource usage schedules & validation test plans, provide guidance on developing or procuring automated test fixtures to provide more consistent testing and to improve data collection and storage, participate in review of Test Fixture results with results of product Qualification by the Development Team, monitor product testing to help determine if/when testing should cease and product returned to Development Engineering for correction of problems, evaluate product based on actual performance (not based on a quality level established as satisfactory for delivery to customer), identify product weaknesses & areas for improvement, provide guidance and support in the preparation of justification for capital expenditures, assist in budgets, etc.
BSEE or BSE degree required along with NEBs, UL, ANSI, CE, BELLCORE, etc. standards experience. 3-5 years experience with 3rd party testing, validation and certification labs also required. Must have previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing test environment, good time management skills, ability to turn-up, operate, troubleshoot electronic systems using documentation provided with product, and ability to troubleshoot electronics or communications products to the component level
Previous experience in telecommunications field is a plus. |
