Tollgrade
History
1988 - Tollgrade was founded
by R. Craig Allison, Rocco L. Flaminio and a
group of private investors.
1993 -
Tollgrade introduced patented MCU® technology
for emulated metallic by-pass.
1995 -
Tollgrade IPO – publicly
traded on the NASDAQ Stock Market under the ticker “TLGD.”
1997 -
Tollgrade introduced the LIGHTHOUSE® cable status
monitoring system for Broadband Hybrid Fiber
Coax (HFC) networks.
1999 -
Tollgrade introduced Professional Services
to support the network’s
lifecycle.
1999 -
Tollgrade introduced the DigiTest® next
generation centralized test solution for DSL
pre-qualification and testing.
2001 -
Tollgrade acquisition of LoopCare™/MLT
Test Operations Support System (OSS) from Lucent
Technologies, Inc.
2003 -
Tollgrade acquisition of the Cheetah™ cable status
and performance monitoring product line from
Acterna LLC.
2003 -
Tollgrade introduced the DigiTest®EDGE® test
system for multi-layered broadband networks.
2005 - Tollgrade
introduced four new broadband assurance products:
DigiTest®HUB™ test
platform, DigiTest Multi-Services Access
System (MSAS), CheetahXD™ Broadband Service
Assurance Platform and Cheetah™ DOCSIS®-based VoIP test point (CMD-E).
2006 - Tollgrade acquisition of the wireline test system unit of Emerson Network Power, Energy Systems, North America, Inc., a subsidiary of Emerson.
2007 - Tollgrade acquisition of the Broadband Test Division of Teradyne, Inc. strengthens the Company's international footprint in network service assurance.
